Lake House Redo

This Lake Dallas property has its own special charm. The owners plan to use this as a holiday rental space and had a few requests. The home is built into the side of a hill and has no back windows. The main living area of the house felt cavernous and dark. There were only two bedrooms and the kitchen was lacking. We took over the garage space to make an amazing additional master bedroom. This expansion also included a new pantry and expanded living/kitchen/dining space. The cupola up top helped the entry feel grand and airy bringing in much needed light. The cosmetic updates to the brick and new windows were the finishing touch to make this home a show stopper. I love bringing new life to overlooked properties. Modern Lake House

This project came with its own set of challenges. There was an existing run down home on the lot as well as lots of mature beautiful trees we wanted to save. The owners main requests were for a big garage that would allow for parking their boat and other vehicles. With great views out onto the docks and doors in every room onto the porch, you can see this family intends to spend much of their time outdoors. I hope this space brings them many years of happy memories.

Jagoe House c.

Built in 1890 the Jagoe house is the oldest home in the Denton Historic District. This beautiful home was neglected for years. It was an honor to work with Dan Fette builders to restore and rebuild the home to ensure it can remain another 100 years. I provided as built plans and construction documents for this project. The fixtures and finishes were not selected by me.

Dreamy Horse Barn

Custom Ranch Home

I loved working with this family to help draw and design their dream home. They had such a great eye deciding on finishes for the outside it helps make me look good! This home is placed in the perfect setting between their horses and long horn cattle. So many fun features in this house but I’d be most excited about the kennel room and oversized laundry room. KGC Spec House

This was a fun project for me. Every once in a while I get creative license to come up with a design. While I did have the builders input this home, this new home was dreamed up by me. Country custom home

I really enjoyed working with this family to create their custom dream home. They knew what they wanted from the start and I helped them check every wish list item to meet all their needs. Some key amenities this home features were handicap accessibility, tornado shelters and an island master closet just to name a few.

Girls Home

This home was quite a special project. It was built for the Site and Jido Park Foundation. Their mission is to promote independence of certain populations. Their participants have certain disabilities that create challenges for them in life. This particular house is a group home for girls going through these challenges. It sits just across the street from a boys home with the same purpose. I enjoyed working on this project with Dan Fette builders. It is in the historic district of downtown Denton, Texas. Design elements of the home help it fit in with surrounding architecture while also being energy efficient. This home boasts solar panels, solar tubes, carefully planned air system and a state of the art grey watering system. If you have a consideration for a green home Dan Fette builders is smart choice.

Males Remodel

One of my favorite projects! This dramatic transformation was for a family of 5 + mother-in-law. Their current home was lacking in a space that could meet all of their needs. I helped them create a new master suite, a large island laundry room, a two car garage and modernize the exterior. I love doing renovations and would love help you transform your space.
